Bike Mania by Cascade Bike club was Tuesday Aug 4th at Magnuson Park from 12-3. What a fun kid biking event with something for all ages. We did bike safety checks but mostly enjoyed watching the kids cyclocross race. Gerry Baker and his crew set up a mini cross course. We saw bikes of all sizes being piloted by cyclists of every age.

The Fluid Ride's Zeb and his crew had their trials riders doing amazing things. The 1000Yays jump team had their ramps set up performing death defying leaps of faith. Face painters, bicycle bingo and the tour de magnuson rounded out the three hour event.

The kids all had huge smiles on their faces and parents enjoyed the cool weather and sunshine. Unfortunately attendance was down from last years event. Do yourself and your kids a favor and put a pencil mark on next years calander earmarking this event. Events supporting kids and cycling need our support.
